As I browse deviantart, looking at some of my favorite abstract photographs, I notice how rarely they originate from the US. I keep thinking I wish I could go to a different country and be able to photograph beautiful things. However, I instantly come to the realization that it's not where you are, but what you see. Absolutely there are other beautiful places in the world, but you need only look around to find people, landscapes, etc that are moving. Considering how backasswards and screwed up this country is, I wonder if it isn't preventing peoples' creativity.

Do people in other countries wonder the same things? I can't imagine why people would be interested in coming to america. There is so much hate and intolerance that I'm actually glad the media frightens americans from leaving there homes. *shutter*
